During the Presidential campaign both candidates touted the creation of "green-collar jobs" as a centerpiece of their economic policies. The media usually equated green collar with jobs in the renewable energy sector. However, a very compelling case can be made that environmental services, like radon testing, mitigation, and RRNC are also green collar jobs.
Perhaps we need to start building a case on how increased radon mitigation not only saves lives, but creates jobs. Does anyone have some facts and figures that could help support this argument?
