Building Science Workshop

NYS DOH Radon Section staff attended and had an informational display at the Building Performance Contractors Association of NYS Building Science Workshop primarily focused on green building. The Radon Section was available to discuss and distribute information on Radon Resistant New Construction, residential building code for RRNC and general radon measurement and mitigation. There were approximately 50 attendees including builders, remodelers, architects and code enforcement officers. A series of presentations will be given at various locations throughout the state. Literature and contact information was provided to workshop organizers to give out at other workshops.
