Expanding the NYS "Radon through Physicians" project

NYSDOH Radon Staff began an additional outreach campaign to the "Radon through Physicians" project targeting pulmonologists, oncologists, and veterinarians in high risk radon counties. There were over 700 informational packets sent to the physicians which included a letter describing the radon program, information on how they can participate, and a radon informational pamphlet describing radon and its health risk. Numerous responses have been returned to the office requesting more material to provide to their patients.
