Healthy Homes for Healthy Nebraskans

Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department in partnership with University of Nebraksa Extension Office conducted an educational workshop for real estate agents in our service area which provided them continuing education hours. The workshop was presented with no cost to the real estate agents, and we provided them with a healthy array of snacks. The goal was to reach 50% of the agents in our service are and we probably got around 70-75 % of them to attend. The feedback was extremely positive and has helped to build a stronger relationship with the real estate agents as a partner in radon awareness.
