HUD Deputy Regional Administrator, Dan Gomez, will introduce the program followed by a power point presentation by Doug Kladder of Ctr for Environmental Research & Tech., explaining what radon is and how its presence in homes creates health risks to you and your family. Free test kits, EPA radon publications and discount coupons for more test kits will be distributed. Two children ages 10 and 12 will demonstrate a radon cloud chamber. An EPA representative of Healthy Homes and Children's Health will distribute information on creating healthier, greener homes.
