Todd County Middle School 7th grade science class on Radon

A Radon lesson was prepared and presented to the 7th grade science classes (125 students) at Todd County, KY Middle School in preperation for the Radon Poster contest. Classes learned about the periodic table of elements, radioactive decay and daughter products from U-238. Also presented were the topics of Radon testing, mitigation and health effects. As a former middle school science teacher, I prepared a lesson plan for the class and included the KY Dept. of Ed. Science Core Content.SC-07-1.1.1
