Event Description
A regional TV news story about Radon induced lung cancer prompted the school nurse to request a presentation to the school staff on the subject. There were 40 staff in attendance and 30 short-term test kits were distributed. The topics covered were: "What is Radon?", "What are the Health Effects of Radon?", "How do I Test for Radon?", and "What do I do if I have Radon?". Several staff asked questions and commented following the presentation.
