Information display containing Alert! Radon In Alabama brochures was placed in Nichols Chapel AME Church in Florence Alabama. The brochures educate the public about radon and its health eisks to citizens living in Colbert and Lauderdale Counties. Lauderdale and Colbert County are zone I counties and Colbert County has the highest potential of radon exposure in the 15 zone I counties. Citizens are encouraged to test their homes for radon and information is given as to where the radon test kits can be purchase.
