Proclamation for National Radon Action Month

Pat Smith, Alabama State Radon Coordinator attended and participated in the City Council Meeting in Midfield, Alabama (Jefferson County). Received proclamation from Mayor Gary Richards declaring January as National Radon Action Month. Ms. Smith gave a brief presentation on radon and its health risk to the citizens of Midfield. Radon bags containing radon information were given to each city council member, city attorney and city clerk. Ms. Smith encouraged spreading the radon message "Test. Fix and Save a Life"
