Proclamation for National Radon Action Month

Patricia W. Smith, Alabama State Radon Coordinator anttend and parfticipated in the city council meeting in Brighton, Alabama (Jefferson County). Received proclamation from mayor Angelo Hinkle declaring January as National Radon Action Month. Radon, Ms. Smith gave a brief presentation about radon and its health risk to the council members and citizens attending the meeting. Radon bags with radon information were given to the council members , city clerk and city atrtorney, Citizens were informed where they could obtain radon test kits to test their homes.
