Patricia W.Smith, Alabama State Radon Coordinator met with Mayor Don Stanford, mayor of Decatur, Alabama (Morgan County) to receive a proclamation supporting January 2011 National Radon Action Month. Radon bags with radon information were given to the mayor and city clerk. Plans were made to present a radon awareness presentation to the Decatur City Council for 2012.
