Lung Cancer Partnership Event
Event Description
The UGA radon Education Program partnered with the National Lung Cancer Partnership Free to Breathe 5K at Sandy Creek Park in Athens. More than 400 runners, and walkers participated, The Partnership supports lung cancer research, education and awareness programs. I provided a radon exhibit distributed radon information (including NRAM) and kits, talked with participants about radon and the need to test all homes.
