State University of New York Technology Educators Symposium

New York State Department of Health Radon section staff participated in the State University of New York (SUNY) Technology Educators Symposium at SUNY Oswego. Students and faculty from technology programs attended. The target audience was technology and building trades educators. The intended outcome was to provide education and materials regarding radon resistant new construction to these educators. Approximately 150 - 200 people visited the radon table. To support the symposium daily raffle the radon program made available a radon test kit for a daily winner. Many attendees were provided radon program website information to obtain radon test kit order forms. (Intended to be an NRAM 2011 event).
