Event Description
Masters degree student and Environmental Health Specialist with the Hillsborough Health Department is conducting a project involving radon testing and a radon exposure study to determine if physical conditions within an individual house have a demonstrable effect on radon levels in a home.
Test kits were purchased as part of the NJDEP-Radon Awareness Program (RAP) which offers up to $1000 in reimbursement for the purchase of test kits. A representative from the NJDEP- Radon Program is a site preceptor for the project. All data has not been received to date.
