US EPA Indoor Air Plus 101 Webinar

Staff participated in a US EPA Webinar titled "Indoor Air Plus (IAP) 101". The IAP program was created by the USEPA to help builders meet the growing consumer preference for homes with improved indoor air quality. By constructing homes that meet EPA's stringent specifications, forward-thinking builders can distinguish themselves by being among the first to offer homes designed to deliver improved indoor air quality. This webinar included government sector, private organizations, home builders, and realtors. The goal of the webinar was to discuss the IAP Program and how radon resistant new construction can be incorporated into this building technique. The NYSDOH Radon Program is registered with the IAP program as an ally which promotes the program and techniques involved.
