Event Description
Attend the Children Health Month Awareness Program at Houston Elementary School.Educated 557 children from Kindergarden to Eight grade students about radon and its health risks . Set up the radon exhibit display. Distributed 557 radon bags containing radon activity books, crayons, citizen's guides, memo pads and radon message pens. The Alabama new toll-free number 1(855)ALRADON or 1(855)257-2366 is displayed on the bags to enhance people's acess to radon information.This was a project in conjunction with Regional IV EPA Air Toxic Division, Atlanta, Georgia.
