Event Description
NJDEP reprersentative presented the second place winner of the NJ Radon Poster Contest, Isaac, with a monetary award during an asssembly of 220 4th and 5th grade scieince students. The NJDEP was joined by representatives of the Bergen County Department of Health Services- Environmental Division , who presented Isaac with a radon test kit. Test kits were purchased by the County as part of the Radon Awareness Program (RAP); a program which the NJDEP-Radon Program offers up to $1000 for test kit reimbursement. Funding is provided by the US EPA under State Indoor Air Program (SIRG).
