Patricia W. Smith, Alabama State Radon Coordinator received a proclamation from Mayor William R. "Ronne" Marks, Athen, Alabama(Limestone County) declaring January 2012 as National Radon Action Month. Mayor Marks displays the canvas bag with the Alabama State Radon Map on it and Pat Smith holds the signed proclamation in her hand in a photo. See photo in the News- Courier Newspaper. A radon canvas bag containing radon information was given to the mayor and the Executive Secretary of the mayor's office.. Two free radon test kits were given to the mayor and the excutive secretary .
