Clay County Extension Newsletter January-February 2012 announces January as National Radon Action Month

The Clay County Newsletter describes four things that citizens can do during National Radon Action Month. These included (1). Test your home (2). Attend a National Radon Action Month event in your area (3). Spread the word by spending time during National Radon Action Mionth encouraging others to learn about radon and test their homes. Attract media attention by working with local officials to get a radon proclamation. and(4). Buy a radon-resistant home by looking for nuilders who use radon resistant new construction. The newsletter encourage citizens that receive the newsletter to contact their state radon program for more information abourt radon testing, mitigation and radon-resistant new construction.
