Event Description
A radon training workshop was held at the Calloway Head Start Gymn for the citizens in North Birmingham (Jefferson County). The training was held in conjunction with EPA Regional 4 Asthma Trigger Training Program , Atlanta Ga. Free radon test kits were distributed to the citizens attending the meeting.Pat Smith using a power point presentation trained the citizens on the use of Air Check radon test kits. Citizes were encouraged to test their homes for radon.
