Event Description
Pat Smith attended and participated in the Jackson County AARP Senior Expo at Goose Pond Civic Center. Set up Radon Exhibit with Tri-Fold Radon Display to educated citizens attending the Expo and distributed 300 radon bags containing radon educational materials. Encouraged radon testing. Sold radon test kits. Communicated with other exhibitors about setting up radon displays in their businesses. Planned a future radon awareness program with Vice President of the Jackson County Retired Educators Organization.
