NY State Mitigation Demonstration

The NYS DOH Radon Program and a radon mitigation/building science firm is conducting an ongoing investigation and demonstration mitigation project at a difficult to mitigate residence. Initial mitigation attempts were not successful. There appear to be seasonal and/or topographical factors impacting the mitigation. Data is being collected and evaluated for corrective actions. The Radon Program became involved in this situation through the CRCPD Building Technical Capacity committee.
