I coordinated the Radon Proclamation Event with Georgia Governor Nathan Deal which took place on Monday January 7th at the State Capitol. The Governor issued and signed the Radon Proclamation urging all Georgians to test for radon. The Governor recognized the three student state winners of the Radon Poster Contest: Clara Ervin & Alyssa Ervin from Walton County along with Grace Halley from Gwinnett County. University of Georgia, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency representatives and family members of the students attended the event.
