Event Description
Radon short term test kits were given away in a drawing at the Killen Public Library (Lauderdale County). The test kits were given away through a drawing by the public. There was a large flyer posted in the entrance of the library advertising the test kit give away project. A radon display containing Consumer Alert! radon in Alabama: Test.Fix. Save a Life brochures were distributed to citizens. The brochures educated citizens about radon and its health risks.
