A press release was created and submitted to all media contacts that Linn County Public Health would be providing 110 free test kits available to Linn County residents to test their home for radon. Additional information was included in the release regarding the EPA data that Iowa counties have a predicted average indoor radon screening level greater than 4 pCi/L (picocuries per liter) which is the EPA action level for radon.
