Event Description
Periodic table of the elements review of properties using apple jacks for protons and neutron nucleus modelling was followed by a lesson on the source of Radon, decay daughters of Uranium down to Polonium, Bismuth and Lead. Radon mitigation including Radon resistent new construction techniques was also included. Classes were pre and post lesson tested for learning and an assignment of an awareness poster was made. Posters for the 2014-15 contest due by Feb 12.
