Today I had the great opportunity to facilitate the webinar, “Getting the Most out of Radon TEE.” This particular gathering was designed for state team captains who have registered to be future hosts of Radon TEE in the campaign, Radon TEE World Trek: 2010. Dave Naggar from Mass.; Angel Price from N.C.; Dennis Vaughn from Tenn.; Aimee Morrow from S.C.; Anita Kopera, Linda Jordan and Pat from N.J.; and Chris Keyser and Mark Jones from Utah were all in attendance. We were also joined by Jeggan Cole from CRCPD and Lou Witt, Gina Bowler and Kelly Hunt from EPA.
The webinar included a walk-through of several tools that can help team captains further Radon TEE’s success. Kyle Hoylman and Gloria Linnertz from CanSAR walked us through two useful tools in Radon TEE’s efforts: the Radon Tee Media Kit and Radon Tee’s Facebook page. Perhaps the most useful tools, though, are learning from those who have already accomplished so much with TEE. Tammy Linton from Colo. and Heather Robbins from Ky. were gracious enough to share their TEE experiences with us and provide excellent tips as mentors to future hosts.
Overall, I think it was a great discussion and am excited to participate in Radon TEE’s momentum in 2010 and coming years.
