I am pleased to see thoughtful postings about this draft Standard that is available for public review and comment.
I would like to mention that AARST sponsors the Standards Consortium, but AARST is not revising the document. The document has been promulgated by the AARST Consortium New Construction Subcommittee. The Subcommittee is comprised of individuals representing Primary and Secondary Stakeholders for assurance of a responsible and technially adequate consensus process. The Chair is a non-voting member of the Subcommittee.
