In Minnesota, we have a winter radon campaign that just started. We are doing radio, web, television and social media ads. We also expect to put out a governor’s proclamation and news release that typically yields 10-30 news stories. We have about 100 radon partners statewide (mostly local public health agencies) and we just completed four regional trainings for them. We are working with them by sending them test kits and resources (example articles, press releases, slides) and completing events together (health fairs, community presentations, etc). We are also teaching our continuing education classes to real estate professionals, builders, childcare providers, and local public health staff. Finally, we are conducting medical outreach with about 10 hospitals and clinics including patient education and staff training. We will also continue to promote our radon data portal.
