Colorado Department of Public Heath and Environment Radon Program has announced its 2019 Radon Poster Contest.
Colorado children ages 9-14 are eligible. They can be enrolled in a public, private, territorial, tribal, or home school; or through a sponsoring club, such as an art, computer, reading or science club; scouting organization; or 4-H club. The top three winners will receive a gift certificate: $300 for first place student, $200 for second, $100 for third. The top three winners’ posters will also be entered in the national poster contest. The teachers of the top three students will each receive a $100 gift certificate.
The goal of the poster contest is to raise awareness to radon and its health significance. Entries are due by November 30, 2018. The required form for entries may be found at http://www.coloradoradon.info
