This is a two-day preview of radon issues covering subjects such as selection, placement, operation and set up of measurement devices and making mitigation referrals.
This course also reviews the science of radon, including:
* Radioactive decay
* Types of radiation
* Average radon levels and measures
* Health risks from radon
* How radon enters and moves through buildings
* Measurement devices
This course prepares you to sit for national (NEHA, NRSB) or state radon measurement certification programs. You can register for a traditional classroom format or distance learning.
