This four-and-a-half-day course covers indoor air quality-based diagnostics, design, installation, troubleshooting radon mitigation systems, hands-on training, worker health and safety, radon in water, and preventing radon in new homes. This course is essential for home builders and inspectors, HVAC and plumbing contractors, environmental consultants, public health officials, indoor air quality professionals, and nonprofit health advocacy organizations. (Note: the measurement course is a prerequisite to the mitigation course.) Course participants will be performing a mitigation. If you own Personal Protective Equipment including hearing protection, eye protection, gloves, and a respirator mask, bring this with you.
