The Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors reviewed and coordinated the selection of the national poster and video winners. States who submitted their 1st place poster and video from their state contests were eligible to win the National Contests. The American Lung Association and the Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors congratulate all the students who participated from all over the country!
The 2020 National Poster Contest winners and their prizes include:
1st place – Emma M., Olympia Junior High School, Utah, $1,000
2nd place – Sophia O., Hollywood Academy of Arts & Science, Florida, $300
3rd place – Emily B., Clearlake Middle School, Iowa, $200
The 2020 National Video Contest winner:
The Silent Killer produced by Emaray S., Rebecca L., Gabrielle J., and Stephanie S. from Emmetsburg High School in Emmetsburg, Iowa, $1,000
