The Vermont Radon Program is still analyzing radon test kits during the pandemic and offers guidance on returning a long-term test kit during this time. One in seven homes in Vermont has elevated radon levels and the need to test and mitigate continues throughout the pandemic. The Program notes that “ long-term radon test kits that you received for free from the Radon Program cannot be returned in person but can be mailed to the address below. Or, you can leave the test kit in place until a later date. Short-term, medium-term and long-term radon in air and radon in water test kits that you purchased need to be returned to the Vermont Department of Health Laboratory.”
