The Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health and Nevada Radon Education Program purchased and distributed a copy of the book, "Protecting Your Home From Radon," Second Edition, D. L. Kladder with Dr. J. F. Burkhart and S. R. Jelinek, ISBN 0-9639434-0-5, to every public library in Nevada.

The Radon Program encourages testing and mitigation and the DIY book instructs homeowners in methods to install mitigation systems or can be useful in learning how to discuss mitigation with a contract. The manual has instructions and illustrations that are easy to follow and non-technical language is used. Methods address mitigation for various types of foundations.

University of Nevada, Reno Extension's Radon Education Program offers low-cost copies of this book. The DIY book is available for purchase at https://bit.ly/DIYRadonMitigate. Visit RadonNV.com at https://bit.ly/FixRadon2020. home. Books can be ordered with a mail-in coupon or through Eventbrite. (The difference between Nevadans and Non-Nevadans is the shipping charge.)
