The Kentucky State Radon Program is hosting the 2020-2021 KY Radon Poster Contest in order to promote knowledge about the dangers of radon and the importance of testing your home. The contest offers an excellent opportunity for teachers to incorporate radon education into their curriculum. Children ages 9-14 will be able to use their knowledge of radon as well as various at techniques to create informative posters that will give the community a better understanding of what radon is. The posters will be used as promotional material for the KY state Radon Program. Winners will be recognized at their school and at the state level, as well as have a chance to be recognized nationally. We look forward to this contest every year and seeing what creative ideas the children of Kentucky have.
