The University of Georgia Radon Program has reported radon test kit usage and mitigation numbers in its third quarter publication. In its Radon in Georgia, Newsletter and Outreach Report, July 1, 2020- September 30, 2020, the program reports:

Kits distributed totaled 256 with 201 results received. Of those, 165 or 11% were in excess of 4 pCi/L, the EPA recommended action level. The highest reading was 22.4 pCi/L.

Mitigation data reported included 17 radon resistant new constructions (RRNC) (as reported by builders) and 1023 mitigations. Note that mitigation and RRNCs completed by Certified Mitigators are reported from 2018 to present. There were 25 mitigation referrals.
