Wisconsin Department of Health Services has published the Radon Information Center 2021 Objectives. The Department is soliciting multi-year objectives from 2021 through 2023 regarding the services of the regional Radon Information Center (RIC) managed by Dunn County Health Department. Elements for the Radon Indoor Radon RIC include:

· Objective Statement

· Input Activities

· Deliverable

· Context

· Baseline for Measurement

· Data Sources for Measurement

Activities for 2021 will include:

1. Outreach via media, including news releases, public outreach, contact with local businesses and residents

2. Outreach to professionals and trade groups, especially to those who deal with radon issues as a part of their work (realtors, builders, code officials, etc.)

3. Response to requests for radon information

4. Radon proficiency certification, which is to be maintained by at least one staff

5. Training and stocking of cooperating local agencies, including training local public health agencies and providing help as needed

6. Meeting attendance in statewide conference calls, radon conferences and training school or course

7. Database development, adding new results of measurements

8. Field site visits, becoming informed about challenging radon mitigation or measurement

Wisconsin has 17 Radon Information Centers staffed with experts available to provide assistance to the public with their radon questions.
