The Minnesota Department of Health features a video to encourage testing and mitigation. Bonnie Mueller of A Breath of Hope Foundation gives her personal testimony of being diagnosed with lung cancer, although she is not a smoker. Her doctor asked her about radon testing. After having their home and cabin tested, the Muellers learned their home had a level of 30 pCi/L. She describes how easy it was to have the mitigation done and how quickly the level dropped. She concludes, encouraging others to test and mitigate, saying
“Prevention is so much easier and far less painful than the road I have had to travel.”
