Connecticut Department of Public Health has updated guidance on testing for radon in child care centers and group care homes. The brochure, "Radon Testing Guidance for Child Care Centers & Group Care Homes," provides instructions for testing times, locations and number of tests to be taken. Reporting requirements are specified also. The brochure is in the form of a checklist. By following the instructions, accurate and valid radon tests can be conducted and reported. For interpreting the results and taking appropriate action, the Department has provided a flowchart for decision-making.
