The CT Department of Public Health (DPH) Radon Program’s mission is to promote radon awareness, testing, mitigation, and radon-resistant new construction throughout the state in order to reduce the number of radon-induced lung cancer deaths in Connecticut.

The DPH has announced that 33 Local Health Departments (LHDs) have partnered this year with the radon Program to conduct community-based activities to promote radon testing and mitigation efforts.
