In a recent Facebook post, the New Hampshire Radon Program noted that analyses of approximately 32,000 homes have shown that 37% of the homes have elevated radon. The Program provides more information in an August 2023 publication., “Radon Risk in New Hampshire.” The publication explains: “In New Hampshire, potential exposure to radon is greater than the national average due to our granite bedrock.” It emphasizes: “It is important to recognize that values above 100 pCi/L have been reported in every county in New Hampshire.” The publication features a map of Radon Tests by Town.

Topics in the publication include health risks, testing, and reducing exposures. See the publication at https://www.dhhs.nh.gov/sites/g/files/ehbemt476/files/documents2/radon-data-brief-final.pdf?fbclid=…
