The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy's (EGLE) Indoor Radon Program is hosting its Annual Fall Radon Training Event where attendees will obtain valuable information on radon and its impact on public health.
The event will be November 29, Lansing Community College, Lansing, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, with a registration deadline of November 20, 2023.

This annual training event is designed for local health departments, tribal government, and radon service professionals to increase radon awareness in the following areas:
· Learn about natural sources of radon in Michigan geology.
· Receive lung health information from respected medical professionals.
· Hear personal lung cancer survival stories and learn about radon advocacy.
· Learn radon measurement basics and mitigation techniques.
· Obtain important program updates from the Indoor Radon Program.
· Network opportunities with other radon outreach partners.
This Conference will provide Continuing Education Hours (CEH)/Professional Development.
