We would like to share with you our new publication “Experience from radon in soil gas comparison measurements held in Czech Republic and in other countries, 1992–2022" published in Journal of the European Radon Association (JERA) as Open Access article: https://doi.org/10.35815/radon.v5.9545
Radon risk mapping at building sites has been world-wide accepted as a significant tool for protection of dwellings against high indoor radon activity concentration. Since measurement of radon in soil gas is affected by several natural and technical aspects, the reliability of radon risk mapping should be verified in advance of field activities. Radon comparison measurements show the level of reliability or deviation from mostly acceptable radon in soil gas data.
