The North Carolina Radon Program has created facts sheets specific to each of the 100 counties in North Carolina. The Radionuclide Fact Sheet includes:
• Specific recommendations as to if they should test air or air and private well water.
• A map that highlights the geology of the entire state as it applies to radionuclides
• Additional information about radionuclides such as Uranium, Gross alpha, and Gross Beta
For an example, see the Radionuclide Fact Sheet at https://www.ncdhhs.gov/wilson-county-radon-document/download?attachment?attachment
