The Conference of Radiation Control Program Directors (CRCPD) congratulates Katherine Pruitt on her upcoming retirement with the American Lung Association. CRCPD appreciates her 31 years of dedicated service and outstanding contributions to the American Lung Association. Her service to the field of radon risk reduction has been remarkable and deserves considerable recognition.

We share Katherine’s strong commitment and dedication to protecting public health from unnecessary exposure to radiation by reducing health risks from radon exposure in homes, schools, and other buildings. This has been essential to the implementation and progress of the National Radon Action Plan and supports the mission of the CRCPD.

We are honored to have partnered with Katherine and witnessed her outstanding career and service in this area. We are grateful for her service to our shared community, as her work has made a difference in the lives of many people.

The CRCPD Board of Directors and the staff of the Office of the Executive Director wish Katherine a pleasant and rewarding retirement.
