The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare has published radon test data and other information in an online, interactive format, current through December 2024.
Online mapping with data current through the end of 2024, reports a total of 43,783 tests. The map shows elevated radon levels per zip code area. Clickable results give the percent of test results over 3.9 pCi/L and give the total number of tests. The map reports that two out of five Idaho Homes had elevated radon.
Tribal lands and results in those areas are shown in the legend for:
• Shoshone-Bannock Tribal Area;
• Nez Perce Tribal Area;
• Coeur d’Alene, the Coeur d-Alene Tribal Area;
• The Kootenai Tribal Area; and
• Duck Valley, The Shoshone-Paiute Tribal Area
The legends also include Uranium (+30 ug/L) and Certified Radon Mitigation Specialists. Uranium results are given as sample date, well depth and amount. Certified Radon Mitigation Specialists are show with information including name, city, company and phone number.
