The Florida Department of Health has announced the winners of the 2026 Radon Poster Contest writing “We honor and congratulate the 2026 winners!”
The department’s poster contest is part of its outreach activities to promote radon awareness and testing of homes, schools and other buildings during National Radon Action Month in January and throughout the year.
Florida’s 2026 Radon Poster Contest Winners are:
1st: Tyler L., Sanford Middle School, A Safe Family Means Testing for Radon
2nd: Zixuan L., Lakeside Academy, Beware of What’s in Your Home
3rd: Veronika K., New River Middle School, Radon Can Cause Lung Cancer
Honorable mention: Laura R., Academy for Innovative Education Charter School, Test Your Home Save a Life
