Kansas Radon Action Month - Test Kits; Public Meetings
K-State is planning ahead for National (and Kansas) Radon Action Month 2026. Kristina Snyder, of Kansas State University provided updates.
One new outreach and support activity involves partnering with K-State Extension Partners to Provide Public Radon 101 Webinars.
She writes:
“For KRAM 2026, we are trying something new for KRP outreach and education with our K-State Extension partners. We will offer three, 30-minute Public Radon 101 Webinars in January/early February. We invite extension offices to host a local public viewing (in conjunction with other health outreach or information or on its own) or share the registration link with residents so they can join individually.
