In its report titled "Overview of EPA’s State and Tribal Indoor Radon Grants Program: A Focus on Activities Conducted During Fiscal Year 2025," the EPA State Indoor Radon Grant Program notes successes in addressing radon in home and residential real estate transactions.
EPA noted in its report that in collaboration with the American Lung Association, the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services produced and distributed a video in English and Spanish to encourage home buyers to test their homes and educate them about radon. The video was shared with residents as part of a Radon Reduction Toolkit for Home Buyers.
